OUR STORY

Once Upon a Time we had our second child. Many of the same things (toys, tools, etc.) we were looking for with our first child were still lacking several years later. We were somewhat surprised as we figured solutions would have been created by now. They were not, and we started encountering some of the same scenarios hoping for simple fixes. We decided we should do it ourselves. Create thoughtful and unique solutions to common family problems. We started to venture into this space on our own.​

Everyday we encounter situations that could be much better, easier, or more fun with some creative design. And we figure others would benefit from our innovation as well. We decided to start with simple yet impactful products. We have more ideas to come. Some projects are straightforward and will be completed soon while other, more novel creations will be taking a bit longer. All of our projects are geared towards improving options for families.

 

One Day using contracts cards, I noticed I was a bit bored and somewhat not present as well as a bit confused by the various shapes. I could only talk about a circle, then a watermelon for so long. Thought it would be more fun, educational, and engaging if the shapes meant something. Like images to encourage thoughtful conversation and storytelling. I thought about how fun it is to learn the state symbols. It made sense to create something that would be more fun and impactful.

 

Because of That we started to create fun simple, high-contrast graphics for each state symbol for all 50 states. We hired local printers and young graphic artists to support our project. Ideas started and kept flowing. We are carefully selecting which projects to focus on based on various factors. We are creating a roadmap for ideas to test practicality, need, problem being solved, environmental impacts, etc.

 

Here We Are with our first product from our newly formed company - Cherubs and Children LLC presenting improved Contract Cards that promote interaction and offer family fun for all ages. Contrast and Conversation, key components to early childhood brain development. They are made in the USA, limiting resources consumed in shipping (not from overseas). We are using soy ink and the materials can be recycled.
